Hmm. Does this story take place before or after Deception? The Quarians didn't get an embassy there but they did get an official presence.

Huh kinda brings home that the Quarians are technically not a Council race. The Quarians are gearing up for war with the Geth I'm sure the Council is nervous about spill-over. Silly Quarians, my Shepard preached peace, why for they not listen to me?

Or they are preparing for war with the reapers.

Or a dairing late-night raid on the galaxy's largest donut-producing oribital space station. Quarians love donuts, y'know.

I love it, the council all but reject the Quarians but expect to board their ships for an inspection, I'm not in favour of Han Gerrel, but you tell em buddy.

Yes and the quarians are refining Eezo for medical purposes, not for weapons of mass destruction. They are now threatening to blockade a mass effect relay in protest, displeasing turian politicians.

Obviously they plan to bomb the geth back into the year 2000.

This is pretty cool. In the trailers, we got a glimpse of quarian liveships bombarding a planet. I was wondering why liveships were being used as dreadnoughts or cruisers. I chalked it up as reusing ship models, but this actually explains why this isn't a lore error. And Korlus being what it is, the quarians must of scavenged a loooot of material.

oh please- all they need it for is to attack the geth and reclaim their homeworld. Thats hardly a reason to be scared.

Ha damn right ^^
"Hey you don't get anything from us and we see you essentially as Thieves and Outlaws and you are not welcomed anywhere near us... buuuut you still have to live by OUR Rules and we want to board your ships whenever we deem an inspection necessary!"

Lul, quarians, with weapons? Only reason why one would worry would be because they most likely would blow themselves up, if they tried to use any of it. :P

Gearing up for the Geth, and (if Shepard has anything to say about it) the Reapers? Woot says I. Great lore post.

The Council has no right to fear the Quarians they have one purpose in life and thats to reclaim their home world from the Geth. Maybe if the Council helped them in their goal instead of asking questions and fearing them things would go a lot smoother.

I can't be the only one who can just imagine Simon Templeman saying Han'Gerrel's bit there in his amazing, badass voice.
