I can't be the only one who can just imagine Simon Templeman saying Han'Gerrel's bit there in his amazing, badass voice.

No, you aren't.

Oh dear, if Han'Gerrel gets his war hands on my Geth, I'll be sad :(

Once more proving that the Council and/or associated agencies are a rabble of morons.

Considering the Quarians only real conflict has to do with the Geth, I'd say the Council it just bullying. I doubt they even want them to reclaim their homeworld, or any world.

I say bravo for not letting them carry out their inspection.

I did a similar thing as the quarians in ME1 when that Alliance Admiral wanted to inspect my ship.

I approve.

Hmm. Does this story take place before or after Deception? The Quarians didn't get an embassy there but they did get an official presence.

Deception never happened.

And dammit Gerrel.

Is it me or does anybody think that the Reapers have a significant infuence on the Quarians?

I mean, they created the Geth (which they look kind of similar to), and then the Geth end up aiding a Reaper, who they also look like, even though Reapers have been around longer than the Quarians and the Geth put together.

And now they are refusing Council inspection, even though in Deception they are trying to get an embassy. Sounds to me like they are working with the Reapers.

Indeed. Looking forward to hearing his cultured baritone again in ME3. I suspect he'll have many different reactions to the ways the geth/quarian conflict may play out.

The council don't seem to care about actual criminals (who most likely dislike/hate the council) having dreadnaught-scale weapons but do care when an entire race that is not currently hostile to them has those weapons?
Just more evidence the council is bunch of morons.  If I get to chose again in ME3 like I did in ME1, I'm not saving them again like I did before.

This is pretty cool. In the trailers, we got a glimpse of quarian liveships bombarding a planet.

Those weren't liveships:

Liveships are the 3 with the giant spheres:

The ones shown shooting are the smaller ones in that image with the bolted-on shipping containers.

Eeyup.

I mean, the only group the quarians are hostile to are the geth. Which would be like Iran threatening to nuke China.

Yes, the political intrigue in the ME universe is converging to a boiling point....yes....We are now one button away from multiple wars!

What are the Quarians preparing for anyways? I think they're going to attack the Geth.

Tali and Kal'Reegar were talking about "Dark Energy." Anybody have any ideas on a connection? (I keep thinking it could be some artifact or some anti-reaper tool.)

* What race decided to kick the Quarians off the Citadel?

If it is the turians, I'm tempted to accuse them of having the same hostility that they had with humans.
(Probably still bitter over First Contact.)

* This story came out right after I heard about tension in the Middle East.
At this rate, this whole thing might be happening right now.

No, you aren't.

Definitely not. And it was magical.

I agree with him, too. Screw those blowhard bureaucrats, and bless him for standing up to them.

A joint vote from the council most likely. Just how the council were going to inflict severe sanctions on the Alliance after they found about their illegal AI research.

While very interesting, the fact that there was a blatant typo in the very first sentence killed it for me. Image IPB
