Mkay, it looks terrible. I'm sure it's some kind of the graphic bug. I had somthing similar in Bulletstorm. Only in Bulletstorm. Any idea how to fix it?

Screen one
Screen two
Screen three

EDIT:
Another graphic bug. Strange squares along the armor:

I have it too,but i can`t figure it out the solution.I don`t think that my ATI HD 4850 is the problem because there are others with this problem and with better graphics card.I hope is just in the demo but let me know if you find a solution.

Looks similar to the 16bit graphics bug from Bulletstorm. Could just be compression used to keep the demo smaller, so certain scenes are rendered at lower quality. Just a theory.

i've pm'd u with probable solution but ill post it here
this looks like 16 bit colors to me, enter graphic driver settings and set 32 bit color there
u can do the same by entering windows screen dettings and upgrading to 32 bit color palette

It's already set on 32 bit color. This problem is only in ME3 and I had it once in Bulletstorm.

driver sweeper, clean reinstallation of drivers, update dx9
make sure your gpu is not overheating (artifacts, graphic anomaly in your case)

Hey Ashii6,

If you could PM me your video card information as well as the drivers I will gladly pass this along for investigation (this goes for anyone seeing this issue [be sure to include as much information as to where you're seeing any graphic related issues]).

It might just be the demo. Most demos don't look nearly as good as the game and usually has more bugs.

Uhh did you even play the game Dj???  ...
They are dropping games from near space in order to market this, they aren't going to release a ****ty looking demo.

I dunno if ATI has it, but Nvidia has an option in the control panel to let the program decide 3d application settings.  Make sure the program has control and try that.

I had this problem when I hooked up my computer to a flatscreen LCD TV. It went back to normal when I returned my monitor again. Can this be a display issue?

I posted a thread about this issue a few days ago (social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/344/index/9273943/ ) from what I could tell from what one user posted it's supposed to look like that. If anyone who isn't experiencing this issue could post a comparison picture, the kid in the vents for instance, I'd be very grateful.

There is no way that is the final product. The ps3 version has much cleaner looking shadows. I am curious if the people experiencing the shadow muck are also seeing the veil of darkness covering the character's faces during some cutscenes?

I can't speak for everyone but I think that's a result of having Dynamic Shadows set to off. I get these exaggerated dark areas regardless of the settings I use.

Sadly I think this is intended. Seen it reported on both ATI and Nvidia, variety of cards and a variety of drivers.

The good news is I have only seen a couple spots where it stands out badly, and on my first time through I didn't really see it. But as soon as someone pointed it out, BAM. lol

The fact that you are seeing the problem on your monitor in a screenshot means it has nothing to do with the display being used. You likely just didn't notice it. Go take a screenshot of the kid in the vent and find out?

I have noticed same problem, but it doesn't stand out badly as in those screenshots. I play PC version, and got the problem with PC monitor, but when I played the demo with HDMI-cable on TV, it wasn't there. Those spots were just darker, very black instead, but looked totally fine. Actually a bit too dark but TV had some auto-adjustment mode on.

Gotta say it looked overall notably better on my TV than on my full HD PC monitor with same, maxed settings. Thanks to tighter pixel density and bigger screen I guess, since even with 4xAA I notice small jaggies on PC, but they weren't even notable anymore on TV, and the low res textures didn't look so bad either.

Oh well, pity I didn't take a screenshots of that, and it takes small effort to move computer closer to TV so I can connect it with the cable.

Ok, THIS is the exact problem I had. I haven't been able to find any solution or even other people who had it. It makes the game borderline unplayable. It gets worse as the game goes on. Is there any news? I happen to also have ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650.

Is that the reason then? No change I've made in the configuration has made it any better, only worse.

Seriously? Don't you have any other things to do besides finding SUPERFICIAL FLAWS of the game?

The characters and environments often look horrible. Their faces are sometimes covered by ugly looking textures and it's in every scene in the entire game to some degree. It's a serious glitch. It's impossible to ignore because its there constnatly.

I suppose I COULD technically play it, but I can't enjoy a game that has it's very appearance constantly messed up. The graphics occasionally look like they are decades old.

There's also a glitch that I only encounter when I tried to turn up my 3d performance that turns everything a goofy red color. If that was what it looked like all the time yes I COULD play it, but it would look ridiculous. I don't really think people should be expected to play a game that doesn't work right.

Oh wow, I was getting this too. It was less severe when I lowered the brightness settings for my video card, then increased the brightness in game. I have 2 x ati radeon 6950's.
