In ME2 Sentinel with the awesome tech armor was an awesome class, why change what was already good?? Really didn't understand the change, didn't liked it at all :(
Who else agrees Sentinel's Tech armor should go back like it was before?

I love the Sentinel now. With all the new ways to combo powers, the Sentinel is the ultimate team player, Swiss Army knife style class.

Just beat the Gold challenge with a few others, one of them a Sentinel. Couldn't have done it without them.

 I approve of this. and...
They sould have gave Sentinels a non-grenade power like what Vanguards got (sentinels have to many passive powers allready). They neft this class to much for it to be fun anymore (they had the biggest power cooldown reduction of all the classes, now its 180 with the power cooldown).

Cooldowns are relative to weight carried. Don't go off the SP demo, try the MP demo for a more accurate taste. Sentinels are just fine.

None is complaining about cooldowns, is just tech armor is not that good any more like it was os ME2-> probably the best class power there became one of the worsts now

Tech armor wouldnt be so bad if it werent for the stupid cooldown mechanic. If you put up TA it will automaticly add 50% or more cooldown for your powers, It is a problem. Sentinels have amazing powers and you cant even use them as often as you would like now.

The Tech Armor nerf is the reason I'm going to replay my canon Shep as an Engineer. I don't care about the blast radius being smaller, the cooldown encumberance, or that it's not as strong as before, I just wish it still exploded when shields were gone automatically and replenished them when set again with the option of self detonation.

I think the Tech armor is right where it should be, personally.

*Wonders how many posters actually use the class as their main*

I think the changes suck. No point in beating around the bush. Take away the damn cooldown penalty. No other class has that, Sentinels shouldn't, either.

The tech armor to me always seemed a bit OP in ME2. Made you too tank like IMO. I didn't complain of course then but I think now with the MP they are trying to balance it out and I think the change is fair.

Even though Vanguard was buffed and became the embodiment of a biotic god? Balance...right.

Iam no good with Sentinel, I just like the Adept style play a lot more, and besides, I tank rounds with 15+ levels just pussing around as a Adept, but a Sentinel is now a lot better class, its kind of the mix of throw and armor with a decent weapon can make the class go from a solider to a mech, with just punching the 1 key.

All they did was make sentinel more like the mass effect 1 sentinel class. A jack of all trades instead of an unstoppable tank.

ME1 Sentinels = complaints. ME2 Sentinels = complaints. No guesses what's happening with the current Sentinel. Boy you Beth-tards are full of surprises.

The only complaint I had was purely situational; was hoping that somehow my puny tech armor would knock a few guys back in the multiplayer. Seriously though, 80% cooldown on 2.67 seconds is not a killer. I think the Sentinel fits better now, instead of the heady feeling of invincibility it provided before. I'm keeping my main Shepard a sentinel for this game, as this class is still my favorite because it doesn't matter who I bring with me on missions. The changes force you to highlight the class' versatility.

If tech armor seems so much of a hindrance why not just not use it. Personally I see huge advantages to that frees up like 15 talent points to spend on stuff I typically left underleveled like cryo blast. Just max warp and overload so you can deal with any enemy then grab throw and cryo for some offensive capabilities beyond weaponry and use the (imo favourite) grenades to really rip stuff apart. A lift grenade and a well placed throw is a great combo

Tech armor was sadly underwhelming. However, my Turian Sentinel is rocking that melee boost he gets from it, and I play him like a slow-motion Vanguard, only with lightning bolts, power at longer ranges, and a lot more survivability.

What the Sentinel lost in invulnerability, it gained in versatility. I still wish detonation would at least regenerate shields, but alas...

Also, pretty much every class becomes invincible at level 20. At least on Bronze.

It's for the best unless you like to be overpowered and make the game far too easy then i don't see the issue. I think they balanced the powers far better in this game than in ME2 where it was too easy to become a walking battle tank and basically invincible.

So why wasn't the Soldier, Vanguard, and Infiltrator nerfed then? Because those 3 classes were faaaaaaaar more overpowered than the Sentinel.

no way I like the sentinels the way they are now.
