It happened to me twice, the game stops giving me thermal clips neither as the wave ends, neither at the usual spots on map and neither using the ammo buff.
Aditionally, while the ammo bug is present, my weapons do no damage to the enemies. I found myself, today, in a match only been able of do charges and melee/biotic attacks, and it's disappointing.
It happened to me with a quarian engineer and a human vanguard.

Edit: the problem was with normal weapons, i destroyed 2 atlas with the missile launcher

The not being able to shoot enemies thing, and only melee's working sounds like lag to me. Not sure about the ammo.

It isnt so much a lag issue, but a dropped info. Happened to me just now. I could 'tag' enemies and gain the assist points, but my weapons did zero damage and i could not gain any more ammunition regardless. What was even more odd, was that the enemies only sometimes attacked me. I could literally run amongst them and every so often they would bring down my shields.
