Haven't played the game is roughly 9 months by the looks of my post, still have the damn paperweight and can't get any decent money back for it now. Did Bioware ever get around to doing anything about it or did they just sweep this under the rug?

No they haven't done anything with this game since Mark of the Assassin. This game is no longer being given any support by Bioware from what I can tell.
