I support having an option for an epic death conclusion for Shepard but I know, I will do everything I possibly can to not kill my Shepard off. I invested 60+ hours in ME2 doing loyalty missions, mining for resources for ship/crew upgrades to make sure Shepard made it out alive! Suicide Mission my butt! My shep does not go down like that. I might allow one of my sheps to play it out that way but this is coming from the girl who refuses to let one crew mate die during ANY play through. I can't just do it. After everything Shepard has been through, he/she deserves to be happy and finally have some sort of peace after all the chaos. I mean who gets brought back to life just to dye again?
If its forced on us to give up shep, I will lead the riots! Pitchfork in hand. Please don't break my heart. >_<
Shepard needs to die at the end

I think the finale would be something like Shepard resigning himself to death. Then there would be flashbacks of your love interest, so Shepard remembers why he has to come back alive. Then there would be an epic gauntlet where Shepard has to evade or fight every enemy in the game whilst getting to some shuttle before time runs out.
If you don't have a love interest, then it would be sort of like the Dead Space 2 joke ending where Shepard just resigns himself to death, having done everything he could.

I'd be down with this. My favorite DA:O ending was the US.

I think death should be an option but I definitely don't think it should be the only one.

there are multiple endings with death bieng one of them, so unless your doing nothing to help the casue then death is most likely

No, I want multiple different endings, not a single forced Shephard death route.
^This. Should there be an Ending where Shepard dies? Yes. Should all the Endings have him die? No

maybe not die, but lose a limb or something. I'm tired of the "heroes either die or come out unharmed" thing that games do.
MGS3 did an awesome job of it, although nothing as drastic as dismemberment.

There was always the possibility to die at the "end", it was called "critical mission failure" or "game over". It's more likely to happen on harder difficulty levels.
That is really enough, so no @OP.

Meh, my Shepard is a minor Paragon, and extremely Renegade
He sees the logic behind a lot of the **** he does.
Why didn't he kill off the Rachni? He isn't genocidal
Why did he save the Council instead of Alliance Soldiers? To strengthen intergalactic political power throughout the galaxy, and for Humanity to maintain good terms with the other races...
If it comes down to him or Kaidan (in my case), having to be sacrificed. He is going to throw Kaidan to be sacrificed, since when is Kaidan going to be saving the galaxy like Shepard, lol?

Minor SPOILER:
I don't mind Shepard dying in the end, but I had expected a little story, what happened to the rest of the galaxy, instead of that kinda mystical crappy video that leaves you completely in the dark. Do they still fly to the stars? Are there still Asari, Turian, Krogan? What happened to the Quarians and the Geth? That would have been a good ending, even if Shepard dies.
