Why do people complain about a Prothean squadmate when they haven't played ME3?

Doesn't anyone remember Legion? Just play the game and wait for them to explain.

It was confirmed months ago on the original emails Bioware sent to us all, but they later switched them to only say "DLC character". I'm going out on a limb saying it's just a "locked" character though, and the DLC simply unlocks it for you. Doesn't sound very far fetched.

Uh wut? How is he supposed to be all sorts of special? He simply isn't.

That or he might not be able to join your squad unless you have the DLC, but he'll still appear in everyones game.

Speaking of which, Jack was featured in the ME3 squad member section of the art book, as was Anderson.

Plus, in the demo, on Earth, when you get Anderson as a controlled squaddie, if you pause and go to Squad, you can see he has a full set of level trees, which obviously can't be filled when you only have one point to spend.

Presumably, though, if you import a ME2 character, you (and any squadmates, including Anderson) will start at level 30 with commensurate skill tree points to allocate... right?
