I don't mind it, I think it actually sounds pretty cool. Prothy is still probably not gonna be part of my squad, but it is growing on me.

Personally. I like the accent. Theoretically. He could be of prothean mind and collector body. Kinda like first gen collector. Plus it looks like hes wearing armor. Maybe they wore armor that eventually turned into their (imho) chitenous collector form. Ill probably replace Garrus for him on a playthrough.

I personally don't like the voice at all, but even that doesn't bother me as much as the fact that it looks nothing like the Protheans, it looks like a Collector. I remember the visions from the first game, as well as the statues, the Protheans had an established look to them, why retcon it now? Are they gonna pull a Qunari explanation and say "Not all of them looked that way," or is this supposed to be a Collector that was somehow partially regressed back into a Prothean?

From Ashes is the Character and Mission N7ers get for free. The rest have to pay for it.
Considering the African/Jamaican Prothean voices have been heard on multiple channels; i'd say that is his voice.

African. And the files are in the demo. Anyone can verify their reality.
