No but seriously, its called gold a for a reason. If they nerf gold phantoms they have to make more difficulties, cause i'll have none of that.

Phantoms on silver/bronze are actually weak imo. My 40% damage reduction max shields human sentinel was 1 shot by one on silver, but that was my fault since we have to play as a team and a team can easily make quick work of 2-3 silver phantoms.

 I use my Salarian Infiltrator's energy drain on them, then let my squadmates take her out.

I like the design of the phantoms, but they screw balance over completely. I feel like the damage they do without the insta kill is sufficient but due to the insta kill I might as well make my krogan a sniper. It would be different if nemesis just blew your skull off for an instant bleed-out but they don't, I would also not give a care in the world if they had to break shields to kill you, but as it is; No team work is involved when they show up, just alot of scattering while melee characters are frightful to get near them with.
