If Wrex and Mordin are both dead, does that second demo missions exist?

This is a question that has been bothering me for the past few days.  I initially assume that in the full game we'll pick our squad so Garrus being dead is irrelevant since he's not actually a major character in that mission.

But it seems both Wrex and Mordin play major roles in the mission, which is I believe the first time that "squad mates" play a role out of Shepards control in a mission.

So would Wrex and Mordin be played by random characters?  Or will they be there, even though they're dead?

I have a pro human all aliens dead play through which will be my first file imported into Mass Effect 3, and if everyone that I worked hard to kill(because honestly it's 10x harder to kill of specific companions in the Suicide Mission then it is to make everyone live)just randomly come flying back to life, it's just better I cancel the pre order, since if I see one dead person come back to life I won't be able to play the game.

Wreav replaces Wrex. I know the Mordin part but it would be a spoiler.

Edit- LOL, just remember spoilers are allowed. Well some random salarian (can't remember him) replaces him.

Sounds good. I was just kind of surprised when in the demo you can chose to have had numerous squad members die but yet it didn't change anything in the demo.

I believe it's the salarian that greets you in the demo when you land Padon or something like that.

Shepard: Mordin? But I saw you die...

Mordin: Cerberus rebuilt me, Shepard. They want me to continue work. Curing the genophage. Stop the Reapers.

Shepard: Uh, Mordin... Cerberus are bad guys.

Mordin: Foolish human. Believe you have upper hand? *sniff* Must end you quickly. ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL!

Cerberus bad?
... but, but I supported them.
... I bled for them.
... I have plans to take them over.
... Today, the Information Broker, tomorrow Cerberus.
... Did I waste all that time at the end of ME2 making sure only humans survived.
... Humans first! Humans first!

An all-aliens dead playthrough, huh? Tell me, how did you kill Liara? I hear that's been giving some people some trouble.

If Kirrahee died in ME1, will you ever see the sticky-singularity gun?

That's kind of dumb. It would make more sense to the story if it was Grunt.

Short answer is none of it matters. Dead npcs will be replaced with generic ones of the same species. The illusion of choice permeates through the entire trilogy.

Not really, Wrex and Wreav are the clanleaders, Grunt is just some random krogan barely of age. It would make sense that the clanleader, the only krogan in quite some time interested in getting all the clans together, would be the one contacted AND the one personally seeing the female(s) to safety.

No i'm trying to say that if Wrex is dead in your save file, it would make mroe sense to the storyline for the krogan to be Grunt, because the player has a deeper connection, personally, to him.

Well, since Grunt is the ultimate Krogan, I thought he'd surpass Wreav, or at least be one of the top of all Krogans.

Yes because clearly choosing which squad members die is an illusion, what to do with the collector base, also an illusion, how to deal with Conrad Verner is CLEARLY an illusion, I could go on all day

Noticing a trend here?

Actually, Wreav has no intention of uniting the Krogan; his views are inline with Uvank. Wreav even goes as far as saying that Wrex's ideas were dangerous. The mission will play out, but good luck convincing the salarians to work with only one Krogan clan. I feel, personally that most people are going to save the day, but some decisions will result in the obliteration of entire species.

Hmm... Sure, Wrex, Grunt, Mordin could easily be replaced with cheap duplicates (Legion could be replaced by another Geth and you wouldn't know the difference). What about those who once worked for Cerberus? (Jacob, Miranda, Normandy crew) Replaced by generic Cerberus defectors?

Ok noticed they said Last of the fertile female Krogans. This means that the Salarians had fertile female Krogans hidden somewhere from the first Genophage. They were probley in Stasis some where. That makes getting test subjects easy to test Genophage. Also this makes makes possibility to weed out the Genophage completely.

No, it doesn't. You're jumping to conclusions.

Will you be able to cure the genophage without Maelons "cure"?
