 I wanted to ask how many hours gameplay will be in Mass Effect 3.

Because now Mass Effect 3 will include multiplayer but that would make for a single player less space for more hours story line.

Is there way to get information about it.


Also is anyone had a issue with character in Mass Effect 3 the single player demo, like a graphic is very different about it and something very odd about it. I still love Mass Effect 1, 2 but third I played I really got bored of it. But I hope in full version it won't be that kind graphic.

I hope still I could travel the world withought doing any quest and visiting planets and do dancing. I hope there is entertainment there.

I kid, we don't know and frankly speaking it's going to depend on you. I spent over 70hours on my first play through of ME2 while some cleared it in half that time (or less)

and your gfx issue, throw a thread on the tech forum (i have no idea what platform you're on but I'm guessing PC), hopefully with a screenshot and maybe you'll get someone to help you

I just played in PC the Mass Effect 3 demo, it looks amazing graphic in video and gameplay. The graphic looks 10 times better than xbox 360

Agree completely. If it wasn't for the majority of my friends being on Xbox I would be canceling my preorder and getting it for pc. If you have a good machine it plays soooooo smooth. 

But as for length of gameplay, I heard it was a bit more than me2 but like someone else said it really comes down to how you play since it is an rpg. I'm sure you could probably clear it in 15-20 or you could take 50+

They're "hoping" it'll be as long as ME2, which is just BS marketing talk.

With the addition of multiplayer, I'd definitely expect a shorter game.

Multiplayer is made by a seperate team of bioware, not the ME team, and I dunno, I spent 2 weeks constantly playing the MP. I think it really equals out.

I read an interview somewhere with the 2 doctors who started Bioware (Ray an Greg) and some PR person said that they were playing through Mass Effect 3 and that they had completed 60% and were over their time for completing Mass Effect 2 so it sounds like ME3 is considerably bigger than 2.  On the other hand maybe the PR guy is just crap at games.

I heard me3 is the same length as me2 but with even more replayablity, which is insane because I've played me2 so many times.

One of the moderators here told me that it has a longer script than ME2, but I guess it has about the same length (max. 50-60 hours of gameplay - ME2 DLC-s included), though based on the estimated number of lines recorded for the game, it could be slightly longer. We'll see it in two weeks time.

I've beaten ME2 around 38 times, Fastest time was 15hrs, Longest time was 34hrs.
ME1 I beat 15 times and ranged from 6.5 hours to 34hrs as well.

SO if ME3 is going to be roughly as long if not a bit longer than ME2 or 1, I'd be content. Just so much that I hope I cant do a speed run in 6.5 hours like I did with 1

As myself I will take my time playing it. I would still love to explore places in Mass Effect 3 without doing any quest or mission, like it was in Mass Effect 1,2. We could explore planets and visit different station base where you can meet different species and entertainment as going to Bar,, etc...

I would imagine it'd be similar to ME2 in that respect, but I'll be honest outside of dawdling for a few minutes or so and admiring the atmosphere, I never really just "hung out" in places in ME1 or 2.

I'm afraid we don't have a solid figure yet.

It would help if you told us how many hours you think you have left to live. That should give us a good guess.

Yeah, sure but you can finish ME2 pretty quickly if you don't really care about loyality missions, sidequests and exploration, codex entries etc.... of course that way it ends up in a bloodbath, but it's still a ME2 playthrough. So you can spend about 20-30 hours by completing ME2 and you can spend 50-60 hours if you really go for a perfect scenario and completing the whole game with all it's sidequests (DLC-s included). My longest playthrough took me more than 60 hours... of course it means that I really took my time and enjoyed exploration as well. 

So what they say could mean that ME3 could be about 40-50 hours long or 70-80 hours long. I don't really give credit to any PR and marketing crap until I finished my first completionist playthrough. But I personally expect a story just as long as ME2's or maybe a bit longer.

Wow, you're fast man! 15 hours for ME2, 6,5 hrs for ME1? How did you do that? O_o My shortest playthrough was about 45 hrs without the DLC-s at the time for ME2.

ME1 is REAL easy to beat fast, just basically do the main missions and thats it. Hell a majority of that 6.5 hours was loading!

ME2, while having the same "main" mission structure, took a bit more time since some mandatory missions only unlock after a certain amount of missions are done. So there was a bit of "padding" there.

IF i took my sweet time, I more than likely could get my ME2 completion time up to 40hrs.

Honestly the reason why I can do it in 15 is because i've beaten the game SOO many times, I know the dialogue trees by heart

I read an interview IGN had with some Bioware executives, where they stated ME3 was roughly 40% longer than ME2.

I'd say that it will be mostly as long as ME2 or bit longer than that(roughly). I've completed the game twice and left at third trial, took me roughly 40 and 50 hours at both playthrough. So ME3 will be say 45 - 55 hours long.

yea. the same length of me2 i heard. but for me me1 lasted for around 800 hrs and
me2 628 hrsXD and this date next year i will probably play this game activly ^^

I've heard that it is TWICE as long as ME2 but don't quote me on that, unless you want to.
