Does anyone know if I need to forward any ports for EA Origin/ME3 Multiplayer.

When I host games nobody seems to join, except for within the first few seconds when the game is created.
After that I can sit for 10+ mins with no one joining...

I can create a game, but even with all my Xbox Live ports forwarded, I don't ever get any players joining. Makes it tough to play with my buddies.

Rarely... very rarely I've seen people join a match waiting in the lobby after 30 seconds of its creation. I simply go back to Quick Search.

I think the ports are listed in one of the stickied threads in this forum. I'll list them here for convenience: 3659 and 6000.

I opened both the ports recommended in the ME3 sticky and the Origin FAQ and it doesn't make any difference to people not joining your lobby when you create a new public match.

I suspect the reason people aren't joining is because the matchmaking is broken and it's putting most players who select Quick Match into new groups instead of using them to fill up the empty slots in existing groups. Whatever the cause, this problem of not being able to fill slots is something that needs to be addressed before release.

Yes, and to follow up, ports 3659 and 6000 are properly forwarded on my home network. I even used the DMZ host function to forward ALL ports to my Xbox. Even that did not allow players to join my game.

I'm on pc and having the same problems as everyone else. I opened the necessary ports and even connected my pc directly to my cable modem and still having problems creating multiplayer sessions. I did manage to host a few sessions however its as though the created session is not being seen by the server. I delete my windows firewall rules and re-created them using the suggested ports. still not able to host a game. :(

I don't know the Specific range of Ports needed, but i had to enable some Additional TCP-Ports on my Hardware-Firewall to be able to do Multiplayer. (My Firewall has no Upnp Support, so i have to do it manualy)
Additionally i had to Enable TCP Ports 12000 to 12250.
I think the End Point (12250) is currently to high, until now the Ports Used where
: EDIT TCP 12019 or 12119 or 12101
I will Monitor this and try to find out where the reasonable High-Value is.
I used TCPView to find this out. -> The Demo opend this Port and failed to Connect (Failed after SYN_WAIT.

Maybe its only coincidence ...

I had this problem and I figured out a way around it that might work for you: try enabling BOTH ME3 beta AND Origin in your Windows Firewall. Origin wasn't even listed on mine until I added it.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work in every case, since my friend doesn't even have his firewall enabled and he still has this problem...
