Ohohoh let me clear this up. I know the phrase your talking about where ashley or Kaidan is talking about taking out the dreadnaught.  The diolauge is reffering to the Reaper, no the Alliance ship and even then a Bioware writer has gone out to say that dreadnaught is incorrect and not properly describes the reaper in the scene. And it is a goof on the writers' part and it will be part of the main game.

No, you're wrong too. I can't find the exact twitter, but it was confirmed on there by a Bioware rep that the part of the script where they call that ship a dreadnaught was written early into the script, and then forgotten about. By the time they went back and realized the mistake, it was too late to fix, much like why there were no dreadnaughts in the battle of Sovereign (I prefer that name).

So it's a script mistake, no more. Don't worry about it too much, it's not canon, just pretend they said frigate or something.

Harbinger didn't look that much bigger the the Reapers flanking him at the end of ME 2.

Now that the Reapers have a leader, why do I see a possibility to create rogue Reapers who dislike Harbinger?

Reapy the Reaper for Squadmate/LI!

I doubt there will be any reaper defections the bsn would break down into total anarchy (well more than usual anyway)

So there were myths about Reapers before ME1?

Machine devils and beings of light?  Machine cultists?

Guess so, just interesting to hear that.

It was actually mentioned and hinted at in ME2 as well:

"I have no information on a 'Reaper.' References to the term exist in some para-historical theories on galactic extinction cycles."

"There are tales of such things among my people. Devices buried on distant worlds that turn the finders into abominations."

http://masseffect.wi...l_Races#Reapers

And in ME1 Shepard says the word Reaper sounds familiar and then Tali talks about the Reaper legend.

Hey thats good to hear :)

So is there written somewhere that Dreadnoughts can now land on planets due to a last minute extraordinary invention, lol. Because in the ME and ME2 it clearly said that they couldn't. Or why hand weapons heat sinks are now ammo?

Well seeing as how a Dreadnought landed in ME1, this is hardly new territory, but it was a Reaper. Since then no non-Reaper Dreadnought has been seen landing. So I don't think they need any explaination for something that doesn't occur in the game.

Well in the Demo there is clearly one dreadnaught overing the city that is destroyed by a reaper, no?

I didn't realize you could land in the sky.

Sweet! Deciding whether to check it out now or just wait for the game, could be some spoilers more worth waiting for in there.

Listening to Ashley's retconned rank makes me cringe.

Retconned rank? She was just promoted.
