"Ka-ching! That was the sound of us unlocking an Asari Engineer and a heaping of XP in the ME3 co-op demo just now. What's the best item you've gotten in one of the Recruit/Veteran Packs?"

You are a classy gent with classy ideas.Impulse and Compulse wrote...
Either a typo, or they're introducing more classes. In which case, give me a Krogan Vanguard. I get that he'd look silly doing a charge, but plenty of other classes have alternative skills. I'm sure they could give a Battle-Master-Esque build like Wrex; just seems odd to abandon the class they originally filled.

Which precludes them from military service. Would make no sense out in a war. Asari Engineers = No, please.NightAntilli wrote...
Some Asari choose not to develop their biotic abilities.
They are natural, strong biotics. It's freakin' Galaxy at War and they're not using their strongest assets? Something's wrong! Adept and Vanguard is the way to go. Likewise, a Salarian Adept would look ridiculous. Those kits are very well-balanced. I personally wouldn't dig it if things were all over the place like that.
Y'know, MP is not an excuse to break lore. It's there for a reason and still very much a part of the ME universe.

Maybe it wasn't a typo & there's more classes? We'll soon see, just three weeks left & we'll know everything.

Why? According to the codex, "All asari are natural biotics", so why would you have them an Engineers? Surely it would make more sense for say a Quarian and Salarian Engineers instead? At the moment we have Turian Sentinels, when Turians aren't Biotic. Wouldn't it make more sense ot have Turian Engineers and Asari Sentinels?
Saren and Vyrrnus were biotic.

Asari Engineers make less sense. Why? Sure they can choose not to develop their biotic abilities. But lets be real for a second here, if you choose to go into the army or otherwise involve yourself into combat and you're an Asari chances are you will definitely develop your biotic abilities. Unless you're a ******. They to me would definitely make the least sense as Engineers over Krogan, Turians or what have you. They would make fine Sentinels, but Engineers? I have my reservations. And with reservations I mean "No, just no."
So I guess this is planned for the final game or what? Any sources?
Hoping it's a typo...
