I only have the Mattock II. But then again I don't use it because I have the Widow I and it does a bit of damage...

I used the locust once, but then I heard it was a "rare" or something like that and gave it another go (with optical scope) and yeah... it's so good. Accuracy is through the roof.

Does it have insane muzzle climb like the Tempest and the other SMG that isn't suited to be a paperweight?

When you say weight, do you mean that the weapon gets heavier when it levels up, or that it gets lighter?

I like the Locust and Mattock as well, just need to find some upgrades for them.

I think I'm on Mattock V or VI right now, but it just doesn't seem to take down enemies as quickly or accurately as a Phalanx X. Unless I'm using it for suppressive fire, I've replaced all ARs with pistols.

Is it just me or Phalanx is OP, because it deals way too much dmg, when upgraded with the damage modifier one?

Mattock is by far the best assault rifle in the MP, considering its awesome damage output with unimaginable accuracy you can easily outmatch a good infiltrator at headshotting your enemies

I use my mattock on my engy only. with soldier, Katana VII or Scimitar V + phalanx V

And on any other classes even infiltrator and vanguard, i roll with phalanx only.

loved that gun in me2, haven't gotten it yet tho. M-6 carnifex is carrying the weight for now, OHK HS on bronze all day

It does but as long as you can control it its beastly

I only get stuff for shotguns, but I don't use them.
