Turians - Can't role AND reduced movement speed?

Meh, I'm just ranting since I hate slow characters and was so looking forward to playing as a Turian.

Maybe they have a faster run, but (from what i've heard at least) they have a reduced movement speed. WHich I assume means when they're not running they're slower than the others.
Perhaps a better argumetn would be that Turians should be more mobile than Krogans. I can't really see why they wouldn't be able to roll.

Turians, Krogans and either Salarians or Quarians can't roll, probably an attempt to balance out the races. Not a very good one, imo.

I actually prefer using Human Soldiers...but then I haven't unlocked any other good soldiers, all I get are Drell vanguards and female vanguard/adept/infiltrator.

Uh, Salarians/Quarians both can forward/backward roll and left/right dodge instead of roll, buddy.

My mistake. Not having played them, I only noticed that they do a little hop to go side to side, which seemed like it was less efective than a roll (covered less distance).
No need for the sarcastic "buddy"

It's somewhat understandable for the Krogans, they're meant to be the tanks. Besides, I have trouble imagining how something with that build could roll even if it wanted to.
For the rest of the races that can't roll(or equivalent), it just seems like a lazy attempt at balancing.

I know Krogans can't roll either, but I have noticed that they can't in cover either which makes sense, no cover-to-cover roll and no outside roll, they also have the highest health and shields count.

- Increased Health/Shields.
- class allows for more survivability AND damage.
Though it's odd I can use a SWAT turn [ Rolling towards the other side of cover ] but cannot do this outside of the cover mechanic.
