Im having a problem where i get stuck on the load screen after clicking "Quick Match", happens about every 3rd time and sometimes also happens when starting a match. When i get stuck even the sound gets stuck.

Enyone having this to or found a way to fix it? getting slightly anoying having to restart the game all the time lol

Even worse with how many times I've been kicked out of a match because the hosting player left just because they died.

I have problems sometime too i notice that 4time so far. Im on (PC) by the way but is ok, i mostly hate that if you want to join and then hosting player has left or he is left in the middle of the damn match.

I have this problem too. Very often a 'communicating' loading screen gets stuck and I have to close the process.

This used to happen to me a lot, but I haven't noticed experiencing it lately. Sometimes I will get the "you have been disconnected from the game" during loading though. Still connectivity issues seem much improved of late for me.

I have this issue occasionally as well even when hosting a game, could it be one of the players having slow connection/computer, or firewall blocking? Cause if I wait long enough it is often just me and another player that gets ingame while the others have either quit their game I guess (alt+f4 on the loading screen).

meh i just tried hosting a game and inviting one of my friend from my origin list, can't connect, stuck at 'joining'... tried asking him to host, same thing happens. quick matches with strangers play fine. what gives?

Running into the same issue. I'm trying to join private matches with friends who live 10 miles or so away, only to get stuck at the "joining game" dialog. When I host and they try to join, the exact same thing happens. This is on the PC version. I'm running Digital Deluxe, though i'm doubtful that would make a difference.

Regardless, it's really irritating since multiplayer was definitely going to be one of the high points of this game for me.

i'm tired to waste my time asking Bioware to fix once and for all the server/s i cant play with my friends,getting stuck in loading,no time out i have to kill my game with task manager still,about getting the same items in premium packs,etc.U don't have a decent server to run multiplayer on,why u don't get your mind on it and fix it,i want to enjoy my time if i want to play mass effect still,i'm getting pissed instead and i'm not the only one.bah...if anyone cares i play on pc and i have digital deluxe edition..

Yes, same here. After the patch/DLC that recently came out, I couldn't connect to MP at all (just got the message that I needed to reconnect to the server) and SP was also unavailable. In another thread on this forum a solution to this was found (rename you save-folder, log into the game, log out, rename it back to just "save" and delete the new save-folder the game has made). Now I can get into the game at least, but MP is really unstable and buggy. I get stuck on loading screen, loose connection in the middle of the game or become a "ghost" (I can pick up on the "fetch" missions, but not actually shoot anything, or restock my ammunition). For the time being I have decided to take a break and play "The Witcher 2" or something... Hope Bioware manages to fix this eventually...

Turns out this helped with the issues I had (at least it has been much more stable since I implemented this)!. I noticed that I have managed to omit the original poster of this solution, sorry about that. Suffice to say it wasn't me who found this...

THIS POST CONCERNS "CANNOT ACCESS MULTIPLAYER WHATSOEVER"

After testing severval methods I have discovered that the root of this problem lies with the files found locally ( My Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 3) on the user's computer. The .ini and .config files from previous versions are not compatable with the new DLC or patch.
Steps to rectify the issue:
-Open origin and disable cloud storage for Mass Effect 3 and purge the Cloud Data
-Navigate to C:/Users/[YOUR USERNAME]/My Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 3
-Cut the /Saves/ Folder (To backup your single player progress and profile) and paste it on the Desktop
-Delete the Mass Effect 3 Folder from My Documents/Bioware folder
-Launch Mass Effect 3 ( All required files will be re-written to the My Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 3 Folder
-Exit the Game then move the /Saves Folder that you pasted to the desktop back into the /My Documents/Bioware/Mass Effect 3 Folder
-Re-enable Cloud Storage( Optional)
-Launch the Game and if/when propmted select to use the local data and delete the Cloud data.
You should now have access to multiplayer and your single player progress should be intact.

EDIT: This does not fix the lag issue with multi-player itself.
tried playing a few rounds and it was almost unplayable , but I was not
DC'ed.

Just bumping this thread to say I'm a new ME3 player and I have these exact problems. Usually need to try quick match several times to get in a match. I get kicked out of the match at the end of the match, usually mid wave 10.

Platform, PC, as the forum header says.

hope you can get this resolved. Is there no working host migration in ME3?
