I get this massive lag spikes every 30 seconds or so, consistently, in every co-op mission somehow. Pretty sure my specs are above minimum and there's no such problems in single player. Kinda also have a very good ping with parts of North America. This usually doesn't occur with my other NA server shooters. Anyone have an idea what might be the problem.?

Anychance you could post your specs to your PC?
Also add OS (32/64?) and were you the host of the game.
Another major factor what can cause choppy/sudden spikes ingame play is if your HD is too full. I personally recommend having around 10-20gb of free space on C:drive or what ever letter you've registered it to.
Defragmenting HD's is also a good way to speed up, unless you use a SSD.
If your using a Windows Vista/7 and you are at around 2 -4GB ram, you can always try to use a USB storage device as readyboost.
