I was wondering if Stamina gear and +stam regen gear converts to mana for an AW? Such as the dragonscale armor. Would this add more mana and faster mana regen or just be a suit of armor and an AW?

There's no reason to think it will. The only thing that does is let you use magic for strength on requirements, it doesn't convert gear to mage gear.

If +stam works for Arcane Warrior Mana, it should work for all Mage Mana.
Of course, this is speculative.  Maybe they hid this little feature.

Stam instead is willpower/mana pool I think for Arc Wars of course, at least so far as equipping +stam items. They are more meant to be used as a mage before their mana is mostly toast (save some I hear there's a buggy thing with mana drain if ya have none, still dunno if that would help) and then pop your sustainables and start smacking stuff like a warrior.

I would assume +stam would work for other mages too...never tested it though

Would love to know if someone tested it. Certain items I've seen with + stam would be interesting to wear if it were true.

Someone on the boards here had mentioned in his AW/BM tips thread that +Stamina items do add to mana.

Yes I have a AW and +stamina gear does add to her mana pool.

Seconding, for example the boots in Warden Commander set give +50 mana instead of stamina.

NOTE: Stamina regen does NOT count as mana regen only the plain +stamina.
