The human adept just needs to throw out a short cd singularity above the guys head and BAM he's floating in midair.
Which Guardians, the particular enemy he was talking about disabling, aren't. If you're really looking for a counter to his argument, may I suggest, "...and if you end up targeting him, you're just gonna knock him back. Combat Drones summon directly behind targets by default?"

In this case I am convinced you aren't playing with good engineers or soldiers who kill things before your abilities can even reach the target.corporal doody wrote...

Lol asari adept...probably the most useful class someone can play. The only biotic class to take on a phantom and win hands down. However, they have a tougher time getting around guardians.
Bullets are instant, those 2 moves have a long travel time.
im convinced you are not playing the human adept right. I guess it isnt for you. just stick with the soldier class then.
you are NOT playing the class right then. sounds like you are EXCLUSIVELY trying to take badguys out from accross the map. maybe you arent set up to maximize the cool downs so you can toss out a power once every 1.5 to 2 seconds. i dunno what to tell you. if human adept bugs you that much, where you cant GET THE KILLS (cuz im assuming thats all you care bout), THEN DONT PLAY A HUMAN ADEPT!

I stasis bubble everything including phantoms and guardians (guardians drop shields when stasis bubbled). Warp explosed plus takes down armour. Throw staggers everything including Atlases.

Yeah, I don't know, my Adept manages to get a lot of kills specced for warp bombs. My Engineer definitely gets fewer kills, but tons of assists. And as for assists not giving points, that's just not true. It's based on damage done. If you take an enemy down to a sliver of health and someone else finishes him off, your assist will be worth a lot more than the other persons kill.
This^ You aren't missing out on any experience. If you do any kind of damage to the enemy you get xp credit for it.

Once I finally got my asari adept though, I haven't been able to go back to the human. Unless I become absolutely surrounded she feels invincible, and that's even with me still not being used to using stasis when I should. Guardians are easier with her than they are with my human adept since the throw gives a clear shot for about 2 seconds on them, and the cooldown is just over 1 second. Other than that I can deal death to even shielded enemies since the warp-throw combo still works on them. Against a single enemy I can pretty much keep them stunlocked for as long as I want(though they are usually dead by the second combo even if they are fully shielded on silver) without even using stasis. Now, I haven't tried her in gold yet, but on silver I can basically go rambo and hardly even use cover as long as I have a spot to pull back to in emergencies, my favorite being the inside lower stairway on White Base.

It's a team based game anyhows, every team member is useful, don't look at the scores and have a good time playing with others.
Good teamwork will have everyone near equal in scoring. There's a huge problem with the "team" aspect of the game if one person has a higher score than three other teammates combined. I'm just sayin'.

Bronze is easy mode so other characters actually stand a chance, but still often lose.

Asari can't curve their abilities. Well, they can with throw, but it's A LOT harder to land a throw on a guardian to make him drop his shield. The human adept just needs to throw out a short cd singularity above the guys head and BAM he's floating in midair.

I have only been using the Human Adept armed with an assault rifle , curving your powers is the single best thing this class can do , especially with guardians . With a bit of practice you'll be bending your powers into different rooms

I am normally always in the Top 2 on myteams because I play aggressively and flank the enmy, and yes I do realise yoou can't do that on Silver/Gold but I have NEVER been able to get into one so...
Bottom line: Learn to play as an Adept!

Meaning as the human you can singu-warp-wave everything in your path. I've gotten through the first 5 levels without needing to fire my gun.
With the Asari, stasis bubble can trap multiple enemies, neutralize phantoms and make guardians regular troopers. Asari Adepts with max stasis turn levels into a shooting gallery for headshots. There are no enemies in the demo that can stand against Asari Adepts.

P.s. Is there some bonus for upping your n7 rating as it's the only reason I can see for ditching your levelled character for a new one. There seem to be very few level 20 characters kicking around from my albeit limited experience so far. I dont really want to go back to a low level character but this keeps my n7 rating low.

after the Asari Adept....the Human Adept is MY FAVORITE to play as thus far in the demo!!! maxed singularity and warp= tons of fun!!
yes this. with some detonation bonus....whoooo it's sweet. if this is about abilities, then no...the adept would defeat a soldier. if it's about weapons...i can equip a sniper to an adept too. i just wont get a few of your headshot and weight reduction bonuses.
