There's a lack of a good communication system - or any communication system for that matter. If we could have many an in-game call function.
(for PC) Maybe the 'F' keys call out pre-set shouts like 'Rally on me' or 'Help me' or things like that. At least to give help with some group efforts. I don't mean to sound callus, but just maybe have an extra feature for those who don't have access to head-sets.

I agree.
On the 360/PS3 it could be something like back/select + arrow buttons.
I saw options like "call squad member 1" on the controls loading screen, but then realised that it was the singleplayer control layout, despite the fact that I was playing MP

There's not even a chat function on PC. If you don't have a mic, you're hosed if you want to communicate.
