I think there would be a good reason they dont let it all carry over. Right now anyone with an internet connection on xbox can play so i think they are just doing some serious data testing. I am happy they are pulling as much info as they can. Be sure, ill be getting the game at my midnight release and be prepared for me to go crazy doing whatever i can to get to the top.

I have two level 20's and working on another character to hit level 20. All in all just a few days work so no big deal as I did the facebook app. So less then a weeks worth of work I really don't mind that I won't be able to keep it.

When ME3 comes out I will be doing both SP and MP now. Without the demo odds are I might not have touched MP once I had gotten the game and I am happy with us testing it out Bioware now knows what to fix and keep an eye on like the upgraded severs due to the influx of people. So while the game will give us at least twice the items and such we also won't have to worry about behind the picture items like severs or as many bugs as this also gives them time to iron out the small bugs.

They should let you carry over a single character and maybe 2 weapons imo.

As sad as this is. I believe they shouldn't carry over the data. That's giving an advantage to people who played the demo and leaving the ones who decided to wait til the game to experience the mp for the first time. It will be sad but that's just how it is. I remember I got to a really high rank in the halo reach multiplayer when it was on beta. Had to start from zero when the game came out.

yeah it is kinda sad we can't carry over our progress. At this rate I'll have every gun and all my classes up to 20 before the game comes out.... and I'll have to do it all over again.... with this horrible random unlock system they have in place... : /

The MP in this game is not competitive. It gives you no edge over another player because you are working with them not agaisnt them. Ripping them all away is pointless fun-police tactics that serve no purpose at enhancing the gameplay for anyone.

Just be glad they even bothered to include MP in the demo. It could have just been the single player portion, and thats it. I swear, this sense of entitlement people have over a meaningless demo is ridiculous.
