Now, I know some people might not like the idea, but truely there has got to be more that do.  Honestly, I cannot understand, for the life of me, why you level the class and only the class.  Its a shame really.  It really kills the longevity of the game in my eyes.

Maybe this is just for the demo, but I'm really doubting it.  We really should have to level each and every race under each class. the only exception would maybe be human males/females and even thats questionable. 

It not only would make the multiplayer aspect of the game last incredibly longer, but it would also give others incintitive to play all of the class races.

I really hope im not the only one that sees the current system as flawed.

Except if they were to adopt that sort of system, then the grind that already exists becomes longer. The real draw of this multiplayer, at least for me, is getting through Gold. To do that, you NEED a high level character. To get that, you need to grind Bronze and Silver. It's fun, but nowhere near as much fun as getting a great squad together for some Gold.

By allowing fast rank ups, but slow unlocks, they allow for everyone to reach peak efficiency in terms of health, shields, and powers early on, while still restricting weapon and race choices for a time. It also helps ease the strain on newer players, who might want to roll their new Turian Sentinel without losing all the power of their Human Sentinel. It's a debatable point, but I do believe it will work out better this way in the end.

Well, some class/races play differently than others, albeit small differences, but, take the human vanguard and drell vanguard for instance. i wouldnt want a drell in my silver/gold team if its their first time playing one after only playing a human.

Or my favorite, Krogan Soldier, vs Human Soldier. I play as melee as a krogen, ive never even played my human soldier, so i wouldnt expect to go into gold/silver and expect to win.
