so i was just chillin with a buddy checkin out the characters and that good stuff. When all the sudden my eyes stumble to the bottom of the screen. I noticed that there's an option to "Promote".
I was just wondering what this means and if anyone else has stumbled upon this. Thought this would bring up good discussion.

It manually ports the character to the SP, to boost the Galactic Readiness.
Basically, the thing people keep complaining about how they want to keep their MP and SP completely segregated, that's the part they didn't hear or read about.
