Can you get rare races/classes (aliens) in the recruit packs or do you need the veteran packs? I have almost 20,000 credits currently, and mainly just want more characters, so if the chances are the same for both pack, I'd rather get a few recruit packs rather than one veteran pack.

There's a chance to get one an (uncommon item), but it is lower than getting a veteran pack.
