Okay so im sure your all aware at how anoying yet utterly adidtive this random unlock system is, but it also quickly becomes a boring chore. Now I play an infiltrator so I've been trying to grab the widow, my freind plays vangaurd and he wants the claymore. Today I unlocked the claymore (three times in a row no less) and he unlocked the widow (just the once), yeah pretty anoying woulden't you agree? I think it would take a lot of the grind out of the coop if you could trade items, weapons and weapon mods with other players, that way it's still pot luck but now instead of getting say a sniper when your a vangaurd player and thinking "great, what a waste of time" you now have somthing valuable to trade from somthing your interested in if luck dosent seem to be on your side.
What do you guys think? Do you think this would help remove some of the grind? Or do you think it would trivialise those sought after rare drops?
Trading.

An economy would be accidentally created. Trading heavily damaged TF2. We don't need a second instance of it.

I'd be all for trading. I mean, hell, the system's based on the "booster pack" system of Trading Card Games.

I don't think it would quite go down like that in a purly cooperative game, especially on the consols but I see your point.

Please dont turn this into team fortress 2.
In 2007 it was a fun shooting game, today it's just a "i trade my hat for your bow LOLZLOLZLOLZ"...What a shame.

Yeah. I played it since its launch and loved it. I no longer play it frequently due to the hold trading now has on it, and microtransactions. I only play it if I just want to dick about for 15 minutes.bagman-HUN wrote...
