The other element of horde, IMO, could be well blended into a mission mode, like the hacking and decrypting parts.
Was just thinking about this and wanting to get other perspectives on it.

Such as mission mode, where up to players could team up to accomplish objectives, like storming a base, retrieving artifacts, and perhap vehicle combat.

Other modes would be a nice touch, after all, in every other game out there with multiplayer there always other games modes to break up the monotony of play.
Perhaps and extended survival mission?
Invade the Reaper mission?
Protect the VIP?
Defend the (Insert Random Objective) until they can be evac'ed?
A mission involving vehicles?
