Do we have info on what outcomes from previous relationships actually do, or what happens with them in Mass effect 3. If I romance Jack, Miranda, Tali, or Liara, what role do they have with me in ME3?
The reason I ask is that I am at that stage of ME2 where I'm locking in my love interest. This is my second run through but 1st on Insanity and I want to get this right, or with the best gain, for lack of better terms. I'm stuck at a decision as this has been a long 80 hr playthrough on Insanity and want to end it right. I'm finding it hard to decide without having info of the future.
I romanced Miranda or my first playthrough 2 years ago, and it was an easy call. Not so easy now, knowing there is impact . If I wait until ME3 comes out to get the info I will have essentially predicted the future and then can finish my Insanity play through and go right into ME3. I'd hate to do that when I'm so close to being finished.
So you can see I'm hopelessly stuck and feel unable to move until I get some info.

Did you play Mass Effect 1?
If not I'd suggest playing that with an active romance of either Ashley or Liara. Then in Mass Effect 2, romance Miranda. If you romanced Liara continue her romance in LotSB after the suicide mission. Then in ME3, simply choose between Ashley/Liara or Miranda depending on which one you like better or the role they play in ME3.
We know of course that there will be a confrontation if you romanced a different character in ME2 than you did in ME1, but it is also apparently easily resolved through dialogue.

If not, then there isn't much I can say except all of the romances are carried over into ME3. Tali and Liara are the only two from the group you listed who are squadmates, so that might give them more content. I enjoyed all of the conclusions I've read so far though, so it's really a matter of preference for which one you'll like best.

Don't ruin it for yourselves. There's some seriously awesome dialogue, but I believe the surprise will be well worth it if you can hold off. Although if you are trying to make the tough choice I was then it's worth the read.

I think they're all handled in a way similar to Liara in LotSB - your ME1 LI will comment about it, and you have to make a choice.supershep wrote...
