Eventually when playing as vanguard, you get bugged. your screen starts to shake as if you are lag spiking all over the place. you are about a foot or 2 above ground (not to scale)... and eventually you fall to the bottom of the planet... into nothingness. Enemies can still attack you (strangely)... and when you die... you respawn back at the bottom of the earth again.

Had that bug in one of my thirteen thousand games as a Vanguard. Went away when i died.

I also got this bug. It was caused by lag delaying my charge. When i pushed the Y button it took 10 seconds, then all of a sudden my character charged to an enemy that was already dead, left me 2 feet in the air with glitching all around.

I've also had this issue on PC--twice during the final wave at Firebase Ghost--in addition to crashing when I charged an Atlas that was floating. The worse of the two times I actually fell so far that the enemies couldn't even hit me, so I was just stuck. Figure it'll be sorted out in the full game.

Yeh I had this as well, but only as Drell Vanguard, never as Human Vanguard. I think this might just be related to the Drell version.

Have had this as a Human Female Vanguard a couple of times now, also when it happens it seems to break the game meaning all of your teammates shields instantly regenerate, you can literally only die by Phantom or Atlas instant kill, though Grenades can down you.
Though on one of them I was above rather than below the map, fired a rocket launcher from the air (was on Ghost - the map that isn't Noveria) and got some kills with it.

Sounds like there are some clipping issues, and not just for Vanguards...

Happens to me a lot. I'll press the charge button and the charge will get delayed sometimes and if I die before my character actually charges than my dead body will charge the enemy. Problem is whenever I get revived the things OP was talking about kick in.
This has actually caused me to become immortal once. For some reason flying off the map caused me to respawn with full health and everytime I died my camera took me back to my body falling off the map and then respawned me again.

I've played a couple of other classes and so far Human Vanguard has been the only one with lag issues. Pretty irritating. I'm alright when solo-ing though, no lag or glitches.

I had this happen as a human engineer, but most of the people who had this seem to be vanguards.

Played another game today, and the lag got worse and worse with each passing wave. At first, my vanguard would lag when I press the keys for the typical charge/nova combo; I had to press the key multiple times for it to execute the move. Then, as the waves went on, the lag started to get worse. Enemies would just glitch from one place to another, and the screen will shake as I run around the map. Eventually, at wave 7 when I flatlined, I was somehow viewing the game through a first person perspective after I was revived. Like I could see the body of my Vanguard, just sprawled on the ground.
I've never encountered any of these problems when I'm solo-ing bronze. In fact, I beat it solo on 1-2 occasions, and it was bug-free the whole time. This glitch is really ruining the Vanguard co-op experience for me; I've lost count of the number of times I died due to some stupid lag (character won't respond, etc).
