I ve been waiting forever for Dragon age 2 and Mass effect 2 dlc to go on sale, but it hasnt since it came out. I will not pay several times more money to acquire the dlc than it is to purchase your game on Amazon when it goes on sale. It is not fair for your loyal PC gaming customers to not have the deals that would benefit you and them when they get to experience the extra content in your game. The idea of dlc has been taken too far by your company, when your dlcs cost more than the game and hold much less content, that is where i draw the line. I ve been a stern supporter of Bioware since buldur's gate and I refuse to support the company much longer because of the horrible pricing model and the lack of quality that is going into your games that i ve experienced in the past. Please change your ways and fix this.

Yeah, your only option here is to wait for an Ultimate Edition like they released for DA:O (no guarantees of that happening), and wait for that to go on sale or drop in price. DLC is the main way for them to continue milking money out of DA2 -- which is now at bargain bin prices most places -- so I really doubt EA will let them lower the price any time soon.

Pre-order bonuses were free for all systems, don't try to be a smart ass and try to twist words.

I hate the fact that without the dlc it is not a complete game and the cost of all the dlc is worth more than several times the price of the game. How can Bioware allow for good sales of their dlc on Xbox Live and PSN and not do this for PC.

Bioware/EA is not in total control of what happens on Xbox live and PSN. Microsoft and Sony get a say in if they wish to reduce the price of the dlc for their respective systems. I doubt very seriously that Bioware/EA would tell them no. On the other habd Bioware/EA can control what goes on at their own store. Also the dlc has been on sale. Legacy if I recall correctly was on sale for $4.99 for a time.

Then why would Bioware limit who can sell the dlc on PC when they allow third parties networks to distribute them on other systems. Granted that they have the right to say who should sell it, however as developers you would think that they would like their content to reach all their fans and potential fans who will spread support for their games. If I wanted to, I could get their content for free through other means, but I choose not to and would still like to buy their content to show my support, however its my opinion that their DLC is not reasonably priced according to the times and compared to the price of the game itself.

I'm the same boat, EA is really dropping the ball here - they have a long way to go if they even want to compete with Papa Steam.

You know how much DLC I've bought for games I don't even play anymore - simply because they were 50% off during steam sales?

Call it a mental mind trick, but something about paying $5 for something that is normally $10 makes the difference, and as a result I have a LOT more DLC for my steam games than I do for any EA/Bioware title.

Mark it down boys, and we will buy.

Well, really, they need to drop the chilidish Bioware Points system because even as it stands right now, there are many DLC packages with a point price that doesn't correspond to a single point purchase option. They just need to go to a flat "Pay this much please" system vs. using funny money.

Peace yo!

Maybe, but it is for SURE that I'm not paying $10 for some DA 2 dlc that only play a few hours

If you are will to risk Origin they have sales with their BioWare points, I bought points when they were 60% off.

They also have sales on EA Game cards which can be used to add money to your EA account, then buy points if you so desire.

Now that the price of the full game is low they should be discounting that DLC. Of course you never see that from them. Why would you pay more for the DLC than for the whole game itself ?

Yeah, the lack of an "Ultimate" edition with DLC bundled is why I've never played DA2. I loved DA:O...I even loved ME3! But I'm just not going to go play a game with lots of interesting parts missing...or play 3x the price for the whole thing. Bah!

I purchased DA II last year for the PC for $20 retail, and just recently decided to grab Legacy and MotA by grabbing a $20 EA Game card. Still expensive yes, but 3x the price?

What are these EA Game Cards? I've never used Origin so I don't know anything about their system. I want to purchase a PC copy of DAII, but the thought of paying $30 for all the DLC when I could get the main game much cheaper almost makes me feel sick.

Right, because the console users are always getting the better end of the bargain.

AS long as you keep paying for cut content, they will cut even more content from future games because you will buy it regardless
