Yes, I want a button to be assigned to tag an enemy opponent for everyone to see for several seconds. This is invaluable for me as a sniper, allows me to make people aware of their dangerous situation or Asari Adepts to point a target that is under the effect for Statis for allowing me to drop a Phantom quicker before you can say 'Hi'.

Anyone up for this?

Definitely a team oriented addition that I'd really appreciate.

I hate the whole "Phantom!!!"

"Where?"

"infront of me"

"What? Wheree are you?"

A tag/spot function would be very helpful indeed.

Was just discussing this last night with some friends. A "Tag" feature would be extremely useful on Silver and Gold difficulties when dealing with Engineers and Phantoms. They could assign "Tag" to the Back button like in BF3, or to the joystick like Gears of War 3.

As mentioned above, nothing is worse than people not properly identifying a target's location.

What? This didn't get more response? Are there seriously a few who instantly want to know the location of a Phantom when one of the characters yells out there is one?

Bioware, any response on your side?

Yeah this would really help... especially with such a narrow FOV. I'm surprised at how often teammates are oblivious to enemies standing right next to them. (nevar happens to me)

Agreed, Heartlocker. I figured this would be a more popular topic considering nearly everyone online talks about wanting a tag/spot mechanic. You can tag/spot in singleplayer, so why not add it to multiplayer?

Yes, I absolutely love this in Gears 3. And because I'm pretty sure some of the people I play with could let an Atlas sneak up behind them if they didn't have help..

It would be pretty nice to call out targets, especially as Vanguard (that I play indefinitely).

"Why Vanguard?" Well, we zip around the battlefield, it's what we do. What if we spot a Phantom before anyone else? Sure we could take it down with some heavy melee but it'd be nice to call them out for support. Same goes for any class & most targets really, especially those Engineers...

So yeah, +1 from me for this! Hope BW take notice.

I don't think the back/select button is being used now on consoles. That's what Battlefield uses for spotting teh bad guys.

I am giving this one bump because once more, BioWare doesn't seem to pay heed to a rather small but vital issue. [ Indirect insult towards their lack of vision when it comes to the small details. ]

Tagging enemies with following shout to the team woukld be helpful indeed. I happened to 'babysit' my team several times (I was the most skilled player at the moment) and it seemed like I was the only player, who understood the importance of getting the phantoms down. And when I was lying on the floor, the rest of the team was down in a matter of a minute or two.

So tagging a phantom and shouting "take down that ninja bastard" would help.

I, too, agree. Those Phantoms are very infuriating, when your teammates are not paying attentions

Battlefield Bad Company 2 had this feature and so did Battlefield 3 and Gears of War 3. Tagging enemies is extremely helpful, especially when a team doesn't communicate with each other.

A tag feature would be very very useful. As an asari adept I've been able to effectively "mark" high value targets by using warp or stasis since it lights em up like a christmas tree, but being able to actually mark targets would be so nice.
