i'm wondering if mass effect 3 will be available as a digital download on psn? this will make it a lot easier for me to play the game as i live waaaaaaaaaaay to far away to get the game immediately like i want.

Seen it only for pc. but you mite need to get it after march 6.

ME2 was available through digital download, it's very likely you'll be able to purchase online. But EA might price it a little higher than the retail version, like ME2

"Nothing to report yet, stay tuned for more info on digital release." That was the reply I got on the PS Blogs from BioWare Community & Social Media Manager Jessica Merizan. Key words: yet, stay tuned for more info. So to me it sounds likely. My PS3 has a broken BD drive sensor so I can't play discs so I'm praying for a digital release on the PSN. That and I bought ME2 day one on the PSN and it sold well digitally so lets hope that ME3 gets a digital release as well. Otherwise I'll have to live without my PS3 long enough for it to be serviced which would put me at sometime in April playing ME3. Fingers crossed for a digital release for sure, and idc about price point, I'll pay whatever to play ME3.

This is great news. I'd like to see other games published by EA being available as digital download for the PS3 and the XBOX at the time as their disc copies hit the store.

This is great, I just preordered also!
I'm in south america (Argentina) and the games usually take more than 15 days to arrive after release date, and it is really upsetting (when fortunately you have the $$ to buy it first day) seeing everyone enjoying themselves at the forums, etc.

Now I have to wait just like everyone else who preordered

I think it will be the same as Mass Effect 2 on PSN, we will have to wait until March 6th to start downloading, BUT this time it's a preorder, maybe they would let us start downloading on the 5th to start playing on release day, that would be awesome. Unfortunately I think the only "bonus" for pre ordering it, it's the theme and the weapon, I would prefer to start downloading the game on the 5th instead of a weapon, really.

i use a US account to play on psn. here in pakistan, i would get the game by 2032 if i relied on normal shipping.

just the idea that i'll be playing by the seventh is more than enough for me to go SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE and run around flapping my arms.

I hope they make that available for PS+ subscribers after the game releases.

i tried to get both simultaneously. my CE order didnt come through as i learnt last week damn company is taking 7 days to refund the money though @#$
