 Hello!
I installed the last physx driver for my ATI gpu, but I still have an issue at the startup of the game. I still got the "failed to initialize PhysX Hardware acceleratin". Any solution please? :crying:

Thanks

I am having the same problem but I have an nvidia gpu. This is the only thing that I have been able to find about this problem. The strange part is that I was bale to play the demo when it came out untill today.

If you're like me, that error message means you'll need to buy a new laptop (or hope that you can upgrade your old one) in order to play ME3.  I'm all for advancement, don't get me wrong, but why would BioWare not think that some of its older gamers (with wives and children and other responsibilities) might want to play ME3 too, especially when they played ME and ME2 on PC?

Try using Driversweeper to remove the old Physx drivers (select only the Physx box) and then install the latest from:

http://www.nvidia.co...111-driver.html

I hope this helps out.

Me too. I installed many versions of physx, but no one functioned.
I also tried CaptCleanoff's methode without result.

AS ALWAYS, besides faulty drivers, or a faulty PhysX, you can also have corrupted game files and damaged Direct3D files. This is not a new problem and has been discussed many times on many different games' forums.

All I did to solve this problem was to go to my Windows 7 Control Panel, Programs & Features. Look for NVIDIA Physx driver in the list and uninstall it. Next, go here. This is the installer for the Physx version that Dark Sector requires.
It's also the version of the Physx installer that the DVD ships with, so I guess you could use it instead. Either one you choose, once you install this Physx driver, Dark Sector will load and run like a dream. click here For more information on the PhysX error message in Mass Effect 3 you can go through here to solve this issue error message.
