First; will your levels reset when you choose a new Shepard? I imagine that ending the war with your Shepard on SP will be faster than getting the first useful mission successes in coop.
Also, if a mission in coop is a failure, will that be counted against the chpsen Shepard's universe? The coop seems to be more of a get-it-get-out operation instead of a defense, where the alliance can simply throw more squads at the planet until a mission success is achieved.
I'd appreciate legit answers to this.
I'm rather confused for how the Multiplayer is going to work in GaW

Each "multiplayer character" levels up individually. Once they've reached a certain level, they get promoted and sent off to the war which increases your galactic readiness. It's pretty much like selecting prestige in Call of Duty multiplayer except you get something useful out of it.
As for the mission failures, they are as how the demo shows us. A mission fails but we still get credits and XP. We'll just have to try again in a different mission.
