I hate the vanguards who think its cool to charge / shockwave past an infiltrator who is trying to sniper a target.

I have one Vanguard build I call 'medic.'

Totally unconventional, by and large, her objective is to be the first-responder to revive people.

Vanguards are really hard to master. I deeply apologise to all those that play w/ me when I'm a vanguard. But there's nothing like experience to get you to learn faster.

I have played with some real good people who support my vanguard play and we work as a team. The people who hate them probably haven't played with a skilled Vanguard yet.

This.  If my regular group isn't rolling with a vanguard, we roll with the next best thing:  krogan soldier.  With heavy melee, rage, and carnage, he's like a slow vanguard.

Unsurprisingly, me and the other guy in our group who are the usual vanguard duo are also the ones who run as Krogan soldiers when the mood strikes.  What's even more awesome is me as vanguard, him as krogan soldier, with a quarian engineer outfitted for range, and a solarian infiltrator.  The baddies never have a chance.

If you kill an enemy already affected by something like stasis the "kill points" goes to Asari/Adept.

This is really good to know. I guess that Adepts should LOVE playing with Vanguards, then :D "What's that? Three people in a singularity bubble? CHARGE! :O"

Better yet, nova.  They go flying like the dohvakiin against the giants.  LIFT OFF!

Be a better shot, basicaly. Or pick other target.

Well, I hate the vanguards that are so eager to charge into the middle of the fight and spam nova, that they forget about the objectives.

I hate vanguards who charge into the enemy I just wanted to melee.

Its like playing with a kid who is all OMG NEED THAT POINTS. Freaking annoying.

Not even mentioning the ones who go on a Nova rampage on wave 11 and die there, when they could stay at the LZ to spam their nova where it is really needed.

Sometimes I don't resurrect the Vanguards. There. I said it.

That's essentially what I use my drell for. The Drell is the quickest of all the races, and it's pull is perfect for taking care of Guardians.

Man, I've done that to people. Can't speak for the guys you were playing with, but every time I've done it is because I mistook the enemy being so near to one of my group as them needing backup. Then I Charge off to the rescue, knock the enemy away / kill it, and the melee goes off right in my face. Makes me feel dumb every time it happens.

From my experiance (still leveling my vanguard) I absolutely hate it when people don't support me or take down key targets (turrets -.- and such) then blaming me for loses. Tbh it's a change of pace from playing an infiltrator, given I'm not the best sniper in the world and I do mess up my shots every ow and then I still prioritize taking out turrets, engineers, atlas, and guardians before anything else since those targets give everybody else an annoying time. I always miss my widow sniper when I play as a vanguard and the fact I can't seem to find decent support for pugs =S

This is the kind of attitude that annoys me. "Why doesn't everyone support me?"

Maybe because they aren't your servants to follow you around and cater to your every whim? Heaven forbid you change YOUR playstyle to better to suit the group's?

This is probably the only time that some Vanguards really annoy me. The whole "everyone needs to adapt to me!" They never seem to think that they have to adapt too sometimes.

Hahaha, I've done that before, too  I always feel really bad when it happens though. Usually I'm just trying to refresh my shields when it happens, and I was just in too much of a hurry to realize that someone was about to melee them. My apologies to anyone I may have done it to.

And as long as the Vanguards you're refusing to revive are the awful ones who have no idea how to play, no offense taken ;)

Your playing a co-op everybody supports each other if you go off and do your own thing your team dies and it's gg no re. Some classes excel better at some things and some don't when compared to other classes. Just saying a class with a skill that easily takes out machanics (such as turrets) should probably do so then let another class who does do as well do it.

High level vanguard with charge and nova makes bronze missions boring for everyone else. That's what I find annoying about them.

I suspect a nerf is incoming with the release.

I believe in full release once you hit max level you turn in your levels for the galxay at war thing and start from level 1 again. that just my opinion though. no need to go spreading it around.

I've been fortunate enough to play with Vanguards who know what they're doing (I think). I actually like it when there's one on the team, all the enemies' attention are on them while I cloak and flank.

There are a few I've seen who just goes off on their own charging everything in their path while the rest of the team is on the other side of the map doing an objective. Not gonna bother reviving if he falls.

Yup main reason I love having a vanguard on my team. I get less attention while I can work on higher threat targets and usually they take care of phantoms for me.

Real Vanguards never need to be revived.

Provided he actually does know what he is doing, this is a good tactic.

He draws at least half the opposing force away from the team, leaving the team free to deal with the objective.

Its rare that I go down, and I do this often.

Earlier today, I held an Atlas's aggro all alone on Silver while my teammate was trying to secure an objective. Charge, back up while shooting as he staggers, Charge again, rinse, repeat. He rarely had time to finish his staggering animation between Charges. By the time my teammate was finished with the objective, his shields were already gone and we made short work of him.

Being a distraction is awesome.

I don't remember if it was bronze or Silver, but on firebase we had the misfortune of an objective in the evac area.  I decided to clear off he sides because I got tired of my teams wiping from being pinned down in an area with poror defenses downhill.

Needless to say, I only died once, but it was after 75% completion and managed to pull enough aggro that none of them died.

Otherwise I get to play running man corners.  AP rounds are awesome, until you get disconnected from the server, and lose everything.

I love good vanguards. They are real life savers. Vanguards that ignore teamwork & objectives trying to rack up kills on the other hand totally ruin the game.

I'm pretty sure other classes can be like that too, just that vanguards are the best at maneuvering and burst damage.

That's my 2 cents

Don't need to charge when I can snipe your target with a phalanx.
