When opening the "booster" packs, there's a chance to obtain a Rare "card". The chance of this, I believe, is higher in Veteran but still very small (Rare cards are gold, Uncommon are silver).

Basically, buy Veteran packs for a low-but-fair chance of a new character.

It's been said in the demo you can only unlock characters in the third column. This is true afaik.

I have Drell Vanguard, Quarian Sentinel, Asari Adept and Salarian Infiltrator.

I've gotten quite lucky with my Veteran packs.

How exactly are you sure it was a Vanguard? Those classes are supposed to be locked in the demo.

Well she was biotic charging everywhere. I was playing my vanguard too, so we where always close, and it was definitely an Asari.

I'm not sure if these people are lying or what. I remember a post yesterday and someone actyally went in to the game's files and the classes that weren't in the third column/default were flagged as permanently locked.

Ive bought 4 vet packs and even more recruit packs... still no characters. I unlocked Human Female Vanguard twice.... but I already had it lol!?
