Can't seem to hear anyone nor am I able to determine if anyone can hear me? Is voice enabled in the demo?

Yes, voice chat is possible in the demo. I've been playing with a headset, it's worked fine for me.

If you're talking about the PC demo, you have to hold Tab to talk on the mic.

PS3 has voice although it flaky at best.

I played with my friend. When i say flaky i mean broken up chat, sometimes you can hear a sentence, other times its a word here and there. This is nothing new on PS3 but has broken many multiplayer games where the user base would drop off. It's one of the main reasons many people stopped playing BF3 online on the PS3 until fixed. It was the main reason for me to sell it.

Like BF3 the ME3 multiplayer is based on team work, it's very hard to work together if voice does not work.

It works. I had some italian-sounding guy talk to me when I was trying to quickly swap in a new weapon mod between matches.

"mar-sha-leckay, clicka da playa button"

took me a while to realize he was talking to me

This is for Xbox. I can't tell. Not hearing voices either.

I'm having trouble with it. Can't seem to get it to work from my end, but I do hear random chatter sometimes.

Also the text chat seems to be broken.
