My typical battle engagement range is probably Long-Medium since i never got close because i die alot. I like to play as a Thief/Assassin. I like to snipe in pretty much every game possible but i also like to be versataille(thats not how you spell it but oh well) and i always think in Mass Effect a Soldier looks badass and i cant see any other class apart from a Vanguard or Soldier leading a squad. I mean a Infiltrator couldn't lead a squad could it? I mean its usually a Shotty or a Assault Rifle guy is it not?
What class Should I Play As??

Like a Vanguard or a Soldier would be the obvious squad leaders but a Infiltrator wouldn't he'd be a member of the squad not the leader would he?

If you are talking about how to RP your character, I think I see where you are coming from.
One thing to keep in mind is that Shepard is N7 trained, so the class should not limit leadership ability.

Hmm i suppose but i tend to think of a squad leader using every weapon but i see what you mean, maybe its me being picky

I fail to see how weapon choice affects leadership.
Other than that, as I said in the other thread, you sound like you may like infiltrator. As you advance in the game, any class can use ARs or shotguns.

I'm kind of the same mind as the others here. class shouldn't dictate leadership skills. And even if it did, the Infiltrator is exactly what it's name implies. The N7-trained Infiltrators plan ahead using guerilla-style tactics to infiltrate enemy lines and defenses.
That sounds exactly like the kind of person I'd want leading my squad on a suicide mission.
That being said, the Vanguard may be the Rambo of the ME universe. Which is badass in and of itself.
