Disconnection from a match is a really serious problem - especially when you or the leader disconnects in the endgame like 8-10s waves.

I have issues with migration - half of the time I end up in the lobby or the opening screen of the demo.

Yeah it really is not working like it should. I have lost a lot of work when losing it at match 9 on silver

Not during gameplay. The game stops. And we go back to the match room, but all exp and money is gone.

I've had the migration work, except it just resets the round, and you still lose that progress. I also had one occasion where I was awarded XP and credits at the end screen, but they didn't apply to my character... THAT was annoying, because we had won the mission :-/

Yep. throw another "host migration doesn't work" on the pile. It NEVER works. Let me repeat that so Bioware understands. HOST MIGRATION DOES NOT WORK, EVER. 100% of the time that the game has attempted host migration I have lost connection to the game. Really irritating when the host gets disconnected on Wave 10.

Just make sure you don't push anything. You might end up inadvertently hitting the exit button when the message comes up informing you that you'll be migrating hosts.

Host migration always works when I am playing. It has probably happened 6-8 times so far.

Host migration does NOT work I second that,

Specs:
i7 860@4.0Ghz (24/7 Stable watercooled)
8GB RAM
60GBSSD/ 2.7TB HDD
GTX570

These specs should be more than enough to play this game smoothly

Seems to me that when more people are saying it doesnt work than there are saying it does, that would mean that it doesnt work. Especially when you consider it's like 10 doesnt for every 1 that does.

Saving between waves sounds like a really good idea. Host migration only works for me in the sense that I can (sometimes) continue in the game alone. At that point, I'd usually just prefer to quit the game (even if it's winnable alone, it's too slow to be fun), but you don't get anything unless you let it play out in a specific way (it's easiest to intentionally let the enemies kill you).

I believe he's referring also to players suddenly being "disconnected" and booted from the game. I've lost a lot of experience that way, it has happened about 5 times for me so far. It was most annoying when I got to round 10 of a game and was suddenly disconnected for no apparent reason.

Host migration has never worked for me either. I usually get put into a completely new lobby. Once I was with one player from the previous game, but the game has never resumed, it's always been a new game. I am not hitting any keys, just waiting patiently.

Could it be related to internet speed? I'm on a ~2Mbps down/4.3Mbps up ADSL connection.

To me, host migration works in-game, but not in lobbies (I just get disconnected).

Playing on PC.
