Seriously.  In addition to what it could do in ME2 (damage shields, stun synthetics, and damage synthetic health), it can now rape barriers, neural shock organics, and CHAIN LIGHTNING.  I started leveling playing around with a Turian Sentinel yesteday.  At my current level, I only have enough points to max one skill so I ignored Tech Armor for now and just maxed my Chain Lightning Overload.  Spamming Chain Lightning every couple of seconds while unloading my scoped Mattock (which is the only weapon I carry to reduce cooldowns) is crazy powerful!

Of course it's still not as fun as my favorite and my main, my indestructible human Vanguard, but damn did Overload get beefed!
