I didn't have a problem with the way hacking was in ME1 or ME2...can't see why they wouldn't include it in at least the RPG mode.

It would make more sense to include it in the action mode.  It's a twitch based feature, not an RPG one.

if they did it the same as the Mechwassult 2 the neruo hack that was fun. And if you can do this with an atlas that would be sweet

I love Deus Ex: Human Revolution but I am never ever going to play that game more than once because the thought of having to re-hack every single computer in that game makes my blood run cold.

You do realize you don't have to. That's the entire difference between Deus Ex and Mass Effect. DX has more ways to get to your objectives and you aren't gimped by ignoring it, the problem with Mass Effect and the hacking bypassing is that you'll need it quite a few times to progress and a lot more times for money (plus a few research projects). Money isn't so abundant in ME that you can just ignore these minigames.

True, but I've been playing rpg's for most of my life, alot of gamers and developers will tell me that mini games arn't mandatory but it does not change the fact I still feel obligated to do them. In the case of Deus Ex: HR, most of the story and the in game lore is told through emails, to not hack a computer means I miss out on most of the story ( unless of course I have the passoword ).

In ME,(1 or 2) the hacking/bypass game were really not that hard. and it was a nice and easy way to get money.
I have the very faint  hope that the automatic by passis an option that could be enable/disable.

I liked the hacking and bypass minigames :( Though they did get tiresome at times.

A nice compromise would be to have them as minigames like before, but alternatively to send your tech-savvy squadmates to do it if you don't want to.

Autohacking is a RPG Feature (ideally it would be based on some skill), which is your character and his knowledge about Hacking is doing and not the players 'nimbility'

Actually it's not much of a RPG feature either, since that ability is present and equal for every Shepard.

RPG mode = (action mode + story mode)
It is both at the same time, action mode won't offer more action than RPG mode.

The number of people who enjoy tedious mini-games is very small. Personally, I'd love to see all the mini-games gone.

I know, but it was an RPG feature. I realized that it sucked, but I wanted them to FIX it. Make it fun, you know? Instead they just dropped it entirely.

In ME2 it was a minigame, not an RPG feature. And minigames are always bad unless they present a good way to represent different skill levels with something other than a basic check/threshold (i.e. lockpicking in Wizardry 8).
Unless I am seriously misinformed, there are no different levels of hacking proficiency in ME3.
