What if I don't want to apply galactic readiness from MP?

Here is the secnario I am worried about. Lets say I really like the MP, play it a ton, and earn a lot of galactic readiness from it. After that point what would happen if I wanted to play the single player campaign and see the bad ending, or bad endings, but all the galactic readiness I had earned from the MP made that difficult. Is there some system that allows you to apply or not apply you galactic readiness to your game or do you automaticlly have it all applied.

Yeah I'm wondering the exactly same thing. Judging from how enjoyable MP is right now, I'll probably start playing MP a bit before I've finished SP.

This is one thing i always worry about when Dev's incorporate multi player into a single player campaign. Considering i spent both ME1 and ME2 kicking ass exactly the way i choose, i don't really want outside options to effect it unless i specifically allow it.

How you play the campaign is seperate from the multiplayer if you choose it to be. The multiplayer contributes to the galactic readiness through the Galaxy at War mechanic which itself is an optional choice to have in your gameplay. If you don't want multiplayer to interfere with your campaign, just don't promote your team.

You should be safe to get those bad endings then. I doubt they'd put in endings that were next to impossible to achieve thanks to outside interference.

Did you see that info posted somewhere or are you assuming?

I have also seen posts where Bioware talks about the multiplayer being 100% optional but have they ever said the Galaxy at War system allowed you to pick and choose how much galactic readiness you apply to the single player game?
