I'm still getting an error stating that the Mass Effect 3 server is unavailable.

I open Origin and log in fine, open up ME3 demo, and then the game states "Origin is no longer running. Mass Effect 3 will now close".

I even tried with my firewall off, and same thing?

i'm having some issues with origin just crashing.

On the 360 version waited until the connect to sever thing timed out, didn't give me any errors or messages but I tried connecting three times to no avail.

Yeah me too server is down i was able to play the demo but that's it can't connect to the server, frustrating but probably an update.

I can start Origin just fine, but when I try to start the demo, Origin throws me back to the log in screen.

Don't know if it has a problem within the auth-server-problem, but suddenly my origin says I need to give it a "cache-folder" ... anyone an idea what's wrong there at the moment, is that cause of the auth-server-rpoblem or should I reinstall origin?

Just exit Origin and reopen.

Origin is up and running for me but every time I try to join a quickmatch I find myself stuck above the match looking down or stuck below the match looking up, only way I can manage to play is if I start my own match.

It seems like the Origin servers are having some issues again. We are looking into this and are trying to fix it ASAP.
