1. Asari Adept - Stasis, Warp + Justicar max, rest Fitness. Reason - Stasis Bubble is OP (+150% damage and stops anything human) :) (Warp not for damage, but for damage done debuff (15%)). Weapon - highly upgraded M-5 Phalanx (barrel+scope).

2. Salarian Infiltrator - Tactical Cloak, Proximity Mine, Salarian Operative max, rest  Fitness. - Reason - you can use mines from cloak and immediately shoot granting bonus damage to both and 3 shotting ATLAS (if you shoot in the glass "head") (M-98 Widow + Barrel and probably capacity mod).

3. Krogan Sentinel - Tech Armor and Fitness max, rest Incinerate e.t.c. Your guy that will survive anything :) (40% DR + 1650HP and 1650Shield) (some AR and Shotgun)

4. ???? One more Adept? One more sniper? or even engeneer? Dunno. But the three above should make it much more easy. (Speculating about Krogan though, but in the Demo - Solider Krogan works too.)

Thoughts?

P.S. Playing Adept or Infi with random party's made it only to Wave 9... I must say it is brutal there :)

Asasi Adept is number 1

The Salarian Inf is 2, what makes the Salarian good is is the one thing you missed - Energy Drain. Popping a AoE Overload while stealthed then going for  the headshot = win.

To be honest you don't need a tank, stuff hits so hard on gold you best defence is to just not get hit. I would probably get anaother Asari Adept and Salari Infi.

To me mind these two class are the best two by a bit.

I find that the Mattock works extremely well on the Salarian. Helps to reduce cloak recharge to less than 3 seconds since it's lighter than a sniper rifle and does not require a pistol sidearm. With the assault rifle scope upgrade it is just as accurate as any sniper rifle.

Oddly enough I recently played a gold match with just such a team. We only made it to 6/10, though I'd argue this was only because we had our krogan soldier split off on the way to the hacking site, and some pesky engineers had set up between us which pretty much triggered a bit of panic.

For that fourth slot I'd almost be tempted to say, slot in a Turrian sentinel, just for the fact he'll be just as unkillable as the Krogan and also be bringing chain overload to the party. Also as it seems like the fourth unlocks aren't in the demo --or at least after playing 30 hours of it I've yet to see one-- so it's the only way right now to satisfy the spirit of this dream team.

Energy Drain Might be interesting too. I guess 2 infi's one with mines and one with energy drain should be really good :)

And on the tank problem, My thinking was that he wont actually tank, he will be a revive bot of sorts, i.e. he can rush and revive you under quite a bit of fire that can possibly save the day.

I agree. Those classes are very powerful indeed.

For the 3rd slot I would recommend a human engineer, since enemies do get distracted by the drone. Also, they are better at dealing with atlas, and not so bad against phantoms (with overload).

A human soldier might work, since he can lay down suppressive fire with heavier weapons (maybe revenent, I'm not sure) and still have a good cooldown with concussive shot. The firing power in adrenaline rush evolution is a must.
