No, actually. While I don't like AI, I feel like what cerberus would use it for is worse then reactivating it. The Geth are already in existance, and shep has killed many geth, what is one more even if he were to turn. What I mean is that I think it would be a bad idea to create a new form of powerful AI. Once you give AI's bodies, activists will try to give them rights, and then there is no turning back. My descisions in ME2 were to dessimate the heretics, re-activate Legion, and shut down Project Overlord, becuase AI CAN NOT be controlled, the only safe option is destruction. I would raher defeat the geth in a military victory than re-subjugate them. That is why I did not present the evidence to Tali's coucil. I sided with Han'Gerrel by having the quarins go to war to take back THEIR homeworld, but through a military victory, not through Daro'Xen's risky reprogramming idea. I don't want the galaxy to regain control over AI, I want it to destroy AI.Cthulhu42 wrote...
Am I to assume you sold Legion to Cerberus then?BluSoldier wrote...
I will not allow humanity to make the same mistake the Quarians did. If they give it a physical form, I'm incinerating the thing.
The main problem I see in sci-fis with AIs is that people want sentinet laborers. If you create a sentient AI then it will be sentient. Imagine if you were bioengineered by a race of macines and asked to compute things for them with out any rights. I dought any one would like that. So it seems the reason most AIs go rouge such as the Geth as the prime example for ME is since people refuse to treat them as sentinet beings. Just my opintion on the AI thing.
Back on topic - Personaly I liked the EDI hologram since it was a non homanoid hologram unlike most sci-fis which use andriods and often it feals overy sexualized female modeled andriods. So as long as they have a good reason (such as the "infiltraiton android" thing) I will be fine with it, although not exactly like it.
Edit: Didn't see Justicar's post. I agree with that.
