So the way the packs are set up, it seems like microtransactions are going to be a factor (like paying $1.50 for a pack or something like that).  Has there been any mention of this?

And sorry if this is a repost.  I should have searched.

I don't see how the booster pack system promotes microtransactions, honestly. After all, it's the only thing you can spend credits on, so.

On a similar note however, I'm expecting an ocean of DLC to be available...just on launch.

Really? You don't see it? Here's how it works:

Cheap Pack - for getting started. Super cheap but not really worth it.

Midrange Pack - still purchasable with in-game currency. Offers a pretty nice selection of stuff.

High-powered Pack - only available for real money and comes with guaranteed rares as well as a chance at exclusive stuff.

Also, I'm guessing that the demo has a much higher credit payout than the real game will. Probably 2-3 times higher. So you'll have even more encouragement to spend real money in order to get the best gear.

If there were more things to spend credits on? Then I'd see it. Otherwise no, especially with all the DLC.

They've already stated there's much more loot than what's available in the demo.
