ME Action Figures and ME3 MP codes

The question I have is: What would be the codes with the figures equivalent to when compared with what is offered in the store?
Are the codes with the figures essentaily a Recruit/Veteran Pack or are they better and include more Uncommon or a Rare items?

If I'm guaranteed a rare, like the Spectre packs, I'll probably make a little slit in the back of the packaging to get at the code....but its not worth it to me in order to get a Veteran pack.
Anyone know?

I don't think any of the figures are out yet for actual purchase with the codes, I'm probably wrong on this but oh well.

I realize this is an old thread, but I'm curious as well. I just received my Series 1 and 2 figures today, and I'm curious if the dlc codes are equivalent to Veteran or Spectre packs....

I'm kind of hoping that it ends up being the collector rifle with random goodies. That way I can finally get mine leveled up completely.

I was tempted to purchase them but they're "sold out" atm. Thinking about picking up the Cerberus and Alliance SR2 Normandy since I like the look of the Normandy...but the whole code thing is eiffy too.

Yeah, I pre-ordered my sets months ago from the Bioware store. They showed up today, and the packaging says the dlc codes are inside. I'd just rather not rip into them if the codes are something trivial (which to me, means no guaranteed rares).
Would hate to destroy the packaging, as they are going on a shelf below my ME2 posters and above my 2 normandy replicas >_>

If you got the whole set just open the one you know you want to open and tell us all what exactly the DLC nets you. You'll get some nice karma

While I don't believe I'll get some internet karma, I carefully sliced open the back of my Shepard figure's package. The pack is called a "Collectible Pack" and it contained:
- 3 Thermal Clips
- Adrenaline Mod 2
- Strength Enhancer 1
- Scimitar X
So...it looks like they are 4-item Veteran packs, for those who care.
Edit: Found one of my old Normany registration codes, and it gave me a "Premium Collectible Pack", which included:
- 3 Medigel
- Warp Rounds 2
- Armor-piercing 1
- Viper X
- Revenant VIII
So there ya go. Action figures give Collectible packs (Veteran) and Normandy gives Premium Collector Packs (Spectre).

I pre-ordered my Normandys back when they first appeared in the store, so I got them long ago and didn't think to save the registration cards from them. I found the one randomly....but I'm almost certain the other one was thrown out =/ On top of that, I bought the collector's edition strategy guide and the special edition artbook from the Bioware Store, but I didn't save the registration codes for them either (if they came with any >_>).
Oh well...I was actually missing more Uncommons than Rares at this point, so I went ahead and used up all my codes. Made a small slit along the back of the action figure packages at the bottom, and pulled the code out from inside the paper used to hide it.

I think the "Premium Collectible Pack" really is a Spectre pack, simply because it came with 5 items (1 uncommon, 1 rare) instead of 4 items (1 uncommon), but yeah they normally have 5 usable items in Spectres. The Premium might simply be a 5-item Veteran pack, and the normal a 4-item Vet pack.
I myself have never seen a single Veteran pack with less than 5 items. So that doesn't really make much sense. If something has 4 items that would make it less than a veteran. However your last sentence is more logical. Two things set Spectre and Veteran apart. First obviously better chance to get Rares, given Spectre guarantees at least one. Second is that Veteran packs first 2 items always have 3 of 2 of these consumables (i.e. 3 rockets & 3 clips, OR 3 ops & 3 medigel). They are always the first two things you get in a pack. Spectre packs always contain 5 consumables in the 1st item and then the rest is equipment, classes, guns. Seeing as how none of these packs have given out more than 3 consumables and people have opened them with out receiving a rare or even a full 5 items, they can't be equal to a Spectre pack.

That guy opened a Premium Collectible Pack and only got 4 items with no Rares and only 1 item with 3 Medigel. In comparison that’s less than a Veteran pack. Doesn't seem you can compare these packs to any of the other packs in the store. Seems they are in some sort of bizarre system of their own.
