Sorry, I’m sure this has been asked many times, but with
using both the search here and Google, I couldn’t find the answer. So do we
keep are characters in the co-op after the beta to use in the full game?
Thanks

No, these are just demo characters. Fresh start when game launches (with fresh content!)

It's a little disappointing that we'll lose all of our progression upon full release, and it's even worse for those who played for days and wasted so many credits to finally get the race/class they wanted after 50+ veteran pack, but as long as Bioware does something to fix the horrendously low chances of unlocking something that isn't a generic human and makes it so you can get the class/race you want easier, I can live with it.
If not, I feel bad for anyone who lost their beloved character and had them replaced with a weapon or another human from their freebie pack (if those are still in the game) upon full release.

Adam the Engineer will rebuild in the Full Game and he will be stronger!

Think about it this way, if we got to keep EVERYTHING we unlocked durign the demo, there wouldn't be quite as much incentive to play as long as we will once we have to start over.

Although being a co-op game I couldn't see why not they couldnt make it continuous, its still for the best it resets

not sure how it would hurt anything letting us keep our characters levels and items/upgrades and to show some gratitude to the fans. I never liked the singleplayer so after playing up to 20 and now knowing the progress won't be saved, I'm done with this game. I mean it's not a MMO, so it definitely would nice to keep it. People have free access to it now, it's not like people can't play now and level up and get some headstart other people cannot.
A good promotion would have been to have some season's pass where if we buy it now, we can keep our characters progress and get access to some co-op dlc in the future. Sadly, forward thinking isn't a bioware way. You know "things have been done THIS way for so long, we won't do something new, and continue to be a follower" and just waste everyones time on a dead end time consuming demo. And I'm even willing to pay extra for keeping my progress. Hopefully there is a cash shop for upgrades and weapons at least otherwise it's dead to me.

Yeah this kind of does suck. Especially since the co-op is so much more satisfying than Halo: Reach. The only difference is that Reach was more player friendly. There was no DLC controversy and they let you keep the armor you earned in the demo.

I'm ok with losing everything. Gives me a chance to build my characters better.

Can we have more of these threads? I get really confused if there is a day without any new topic about carrying over stuff.

Hope more characters get added later anyways and expand on some of the apparent single sex characters, tuarian/salarian females would be neat to see. Certainly investing in me3 though when it pops out. (income tax time: my wife gets a laptop I get a video game....think I got the short stick, at least until i put my game on her laptop bwuahaha.)

While they do annoy I can't blame people for not searching. The search feature on these forums is diabolical.
I tryed:
"Keep characters after beta"
"Keep progress after beta"
"Carryover after beta"
"Beta carryover to live"
None of which gave any results.

When I was wondering about that question I came here and checked first two pages for titles. Not with search bar, but just manually browsing, it takes 20 seconds I swear. And, look at that, there was some topic on the second page about that. And every time same topic is posted I check the first two pages just out of the curiosity and there is identical topic every time on the first or second page.
EDIT: And titles cleary states what the talk is about in the thread.

Oh well, demo multiplayer sucks in my honest opinion. Hopefully it will be better in the final game. If not... well... *returns to campaign*.
