Gold Completed 3 times with randoms yesterday ^^ ( Playing as a Soldier ..... Human Soldier )
Haha yea. I've completed a few golds with randoms. But the difference between playing with people I know vs randoms is that playing with randoms usually takes 40 min to beat gold.
But with anyone on my buddy list... 30 mins on avg for gold runs. But that's just my experience.

Currently lvl 83, rolling with either a 20 asari adept or a 14 krogan soldier. Have completed silver several times, but never had a good enough squad to go for gold.

Im improving my gameplay although I will say im finding I like certain clases best however low level infiltrators seem difficult to wrack up high kill badges on reapers. Got kicked from a game because I guess the others assumed I wasnt holding my end up enough while trying to level one.
That being said looking for people who have decent patience and want to group up for fun with actual group tactics and not mass chaos of nonstop missions fails.
I have mic and dont mind chatting.

Mission settings
1.) Any map
2.) Geth
3.) Qaurian Infil, Human Engineer, Qaurian Engineer, Salarian Engineer, Salarian Infil, Turian Sent
This is by far the easiest level parameters and if done right, you can beat Gold in 29-35 mins depending on the size of the map with the listed classes above.
Reason
-Chain overloads can keep the geth spawns at bay.
-Drones/Turret
-Sabotage
-Energy Drain
-Decoy
This is what we did for beating all maps on Gold:
Qaurian Infil (sabotage, cloaked spike thrower or geth plasma shotgun, OHKO most geth)
Salarian Infil (widow is prefered to quickly dispatch anything with armor, OHKO most geth)
Human Engineer (overloads with at least 1 chain lightning evolution, drone, incinerate armor)
Salarian Engineer (decoy, energy drain, incinerate armor)
*note: level 17+ is prefered and we did this with weapons at level I.
Having two Qaurian Infil's is a bit redundent but you can replace one with a salarian infil. They are the main killers of the team. Salarian infil doing great damage (cloak + drain + snipe) and a Quarian infil (cloak + sabotage + shotty) who will turn groups of geth into your friends. Make sure you remind your team to not shoot sabotaged foes as they are hacked for roughly 18 seconds. Use that to your advantage! Sabotage also helps pinning enemies. If no other enemy is around the hacked geth, they will simply stand still. You can follow that up with an easy headshot or pin them for your friends. This is when a tight spread mod on your shotgun is most effective! You can charge a shot and headshot for an easy kill with Spike or GPS.
Alternatively, the Quarian Infil can camp the flank spawns and ensure the main group doesn't get flanked, by itself! The main group can hold off the largest front on any map. From time to time, Quarian Infil can help the main front by hacking some foes.
Pair one of the above with one of the engineers, and you can hold off two seperate fronts of geth very easy. You'll never get flanked if done right! That is when having two sabotages work well in your favor, espicially if you are familiar with spawn controlling. Engineers lack the firepower needed for geth primes but they can strip shields and deploy distractions. They are mainly support and crucial to stripping defenses and compliment the "killers" of the team. You can hold off a whole hallway with a well placed decoy!
I would like to hear other tactics from you guys for other enemy types. I know stasis is crucial for phantoms and such. But we have not beat a gold map w/ Reapers. They are to me the hardest enemy type on Gold. We tried gold reapers... but only made it to round 6 lol.
If you are interested in gaining fast creds with the above tactic, hit me up. I like to take breaks from SP and play some MP with some of you. I'll be in the chat room as well so find me! I hope this helps.

So I completed 6/6 Gold maps. I'd like to post some tips to help people in this thread farm for gold to get as much spectre packs as efficiently as possible. Roughly 70-80k credits!

I've got a quarian inf that I'd be willing to cheese on should anyone require my services. I only play evenings and weekends (the Man is keeping me down at the 9 to 5). My preferred gold class is Asari Adept but I haven't unlocked it in the actual game yet, so I guess I'll look for a geth farming team in the mean time.

After plenty of Geth Gold farming, you'll have plenty of weapons and by then more classes! So it's def worth doing for the time being if you have the above classes. I imagine once you get your prefered weapon to X and class to 20... Gold will always be a cakewalk, for any enemy types.
